There is no fixed hour in your week. Between work, travel and family, the trip to a gym is the first thing cut, and the training goes out with it.
Online one on one coaching
Keep the coach.
Lose the commute.
Evolve Fitness has trained Chicago one on one for over twenty years. Our specialists now coach online, matched to you after a real intake interview.
01 Why people come to us
The training is not
the hard part.
A shoulder, a hip, a back, a postnatal recovery. An app does not know about it and a class cannot work around it, so you train at half effort and hope.
Somebody knew your history and how you move. Then you relocated, or they did, and you have been trying to replace them with videos ever since.
There are no shortcuts to improving your health and fitness.
There is a coach who knows your history, watches every rep, and changes the plan the week your life changes. That part travels.
02 How it works
Three steps. It starts
with a conversation.
-
1
A 15 minute call
We ask about your goals, your training history, your injuries and what your week actually looks like. It is an intake interview, not a sales call, and you leave it with a straight answer on whether we can help.
-
2
You are matched to a specialist
From a roster of eleven trainers, you are paired with the one whose specialty fits what you are trying to do. Rehab, hypertrophy, prenatal, nutrition, endurance. Not whoever happens to be free.
-
3
You train on a plan built for your week
Programming, nutrition guidance and check-ins built around your schedule, your equipment and your body. All of it adjusted every time any of those change.
03 What you get
One price.
Six benefits.
- A matched certified specialistYours from day one. Chosen against your goal on the intake call, not assigned at random.
- Custom programmingWritten for your body, your history and the equipment you actually have access to.
- Nutrition guidanceBuilt into the plan by coaches who hold nutrition certifications, not sold on as an extra.
- Health coachingSleep, stress and the daily habits that decide whether any of the training sticks.
- Ongoing check-insA coach who follows up. Not a PDF you download once and never open again.
- Adjusted around real lifeAn injury flares, a work trip lands, a hotel gym has two dumbbells. The programme moves with it.

05 Where this came from
Twenty years on a floor
in Lakeview.
The coaching did not start online. It started at 1704 W Belmont, one client at a time, and the method running over video now is the same one.
06 In their words
The proof is public.
Go and check it.
Over the year and a half working with Tim, I dropped from 240lbs to sub 210 and went from a 36+ waist to sub 34.
The trainers and programming at Evolve are second to none.
She is so knowledgeable about both fitness and healthy eating habits, and she pushed me to work hard.
07 Before you book
The seven things
people ask first.
Can you actually see my form over video?
Yes, and it is the part people are most surprised by. Your coach sets the camera angle before you start, watches the working sets live, and stops you mid rep the same way they would standing next to you. For anything technical they will also ask for a recorded set from a second angle so it can be reviewed properly.
What happens if I travel?
Nothing breaks. Tell your coach the dates and what you will have access to, whether that is a full gym, a hotel room with two dumbbells, or nothing at all. The week gets rewritten around it. Travel is the most common reason people lose momentum, so it is planned for rather than worked around.
What if I have an injury?
It is one of the main reasons people come to us. Several of our coaches specialise in corrective exercise and injury rehabilitation, and we work alongside what your physician or physical therapist has told you. Raise it on the intake call, because it changes who you get matched with.
Do I need equipment?
No. Your programme is written against whatever you already have, whether that is a full gym membership, a set of bands at home, or a bodyweight starting point. If buying one or two things would genuinely speed you up, your coach will say so and tell you what to skip.
What actually happens on the call?
Fifteen minutes. We ask about your goal, your training history, any injuries and what your week looks like, then tell you whether we are the right fit and which coach we would match you with. It is an intake interview. There is nothing to pay and nobody will chase you afterwards.
Can my partner join my sessions?
The coaching is one on one, because the programme is written for one person's body and history. If your partner wants to train too, they go through their own intake call and get matched to their own coach. Raise it on the call and we will tell you how the two work alongside each other.
Is there a contract?
No long term contract. Coaching runs month to month at $400, and you tell your coach if you want to stop. We would rather you stayed because the training is working.
our side of it
If you and your coach are not the right fit in the first month, we will rematch you or refund you.
The real risk in online coaching is being stuck with the wrong person. That one is ours to carry, not yours.
